A Tower of Eiffel as the example of filigree manufacturing capabilities

The copy of the tower of Eiffel 5,5 m height has already been placed in the hall of central office of “Modern-Expo” (Lutsk) and attracting visitors’ attention for a year and a half. It was created by our designers and engineers as a stand decoration of “Modern-Expo” for international exhibition of equipment, furniture, accessories for shops, restaurants and hotels “MaRGO-2005”.

A little French souvenir given by Lutsk businessman was its prototype. On “MaRGO” the tower of Eiffel created furore, as however all stand of “Modern of Expo”. Creating the atmosphere of French street our designers expected for exactly such interest in original exposition. In fact style of our company is associated with this country. It’s impossible to imagine France without the Eiffel tower. On our stand there were tables as in the French cafe. Managers of “Modern-Expo” were proposing French rolls, red dry wine telling about the company, products, business offers. The originality of stand was successfully combined with paying attention to every client. In “Modern-Expo” the best way for understanding and deciding tasks is the direct contact with customers. Nobody expected the history continuation after the exhibition. Certainly, as an original gift for the clients and the example of technical manufacturing opportunities the single copies of the Eiffel tower were produced. But it was not included into the catalogue; the «shot» of orders was unexpected.

A casual customer visiting our exhibition in Lutsk was surprised having seen this copy of the Eiffel tower and he immediately decided to buy. As a result, ten 6m copies of tower were sent to Netherlands. Especial interest in these products was shown by residents of Rembrandt’s motherland. The Netherlands businessmen liked to purchase ”a little Paris” in quantity of 1000 items. For what purpose the residents of Netherlands may need such specific products, is still mystery. The staff of “Modern-Expo” likes to joke, possibly, every Dutchman wishes to have in the yard his own tower of Eiffel. At the same time, such decoration in a cafe or restaurant without doubt helps to feel the particular romantic atmosphere. Technically it is possible to produce its copies 1500, 2750 and 5500 mm in height.
