«Modern-Expo»: A hospitable stand in a «Gostiny Dvor»

VII International Exhibition Forum «Retail World»- The company took part in the international exhibition forum

At the beginning of the first summer month, on June, 6-7, the VII International Exhibition Forum «Retail World» took place in the capital of Russian Federation. Organizers of the business-measure of a world scale are National Auction Association, Commercial and industrial Chamber of Russian FEDERATION, Moscow International Business Association at support of Ministry of Economic development and Trading in Russian FEDERATION of Government of Moscow.

The method of organization of the forum’s work was interesting. In fact participants got unique possibility not only brightly to present the products on a stand but also to divide their vision of the situation in the market of modern retail at eight specialized conferences. It was naturally, that Modern-Expo Company, which is the recognized innovator in that field, used an opportunity to score for sound its own supervisions, becoming the official partner of the conference «Hypermarket and supermarket: exact strategies and concept of trade developing». Talk-Show, Exhibition Forum «Retail World»Andriy Kolpakov, the Export Director of «Modern-Expo» contributed a report named «Individual store fixtures as means of competitive separation».

Besides, the «Modern-Expo`s» representatives visited other measures during the forum. Among them was the Talk-Show, organized for the first time. It was not only the official opening of the forum, but also the place of meeting and discussions of well-known businessmen and politicians.

Talking about the exposition, it should be noticed that the company`s stand enjoyed high level of visitors` attention. Our quests used a pleasant opportunity to take their seats at the tables on the territory of our exposition and, drinking a cup of wonderful coffee, to learn our assortment, to know more about «Modern-Expo`s» novelties. They were able to ask for an advice our specialist and to listen about the company`s plans for future.

A lot of good references were given to the unique company’s product – the system «Columb», which is the synthesis of best American and European tendencies. Visitors liked also the renovated system «Style», wooden and bread shelving. A lot of asks to tell more about check-out counters and brand equipment were coming in during the exposition.

Thus, our partners had one more opportunity to make sure of invariability of main principles of the company’s activity – quality of goods and reliability of service in a complex with the constant aspiring to the progressive innovations.

Generally, we are satisfied with results of the exhibition. Exhibitions are interesting, because they give an opportunity to hear from retailers directions of their development, waiting concerning suppliers and producers. In another word – how they live, where they go, what they want. Taking that into the consideration, we, as producer of shelving systems and check-out counters, make our strategy and prepare our manufacture for future sales. That is, I think, the main competitive advantage. While an exhibition we can also meet our competitors face-to-face. Although we do not use that term, because producers can always find the direction, where their interests are mutually beneficial. Unfortunately, there were not a lot of producers at that forum. In general, we do not think about an exhibition like about «rain», which leads to many «mushrooms». That is one of good game rules and a possibility to realize programs of marketing and advertising.
