International Exhibition Forum «The World of Trade»

On 7-9 June, 2006 in Moscow under the hospitable vault of «Gostinnyj Dvor» at 4 Ilinka Street was taking place the 4 International Trade Exhibition Forum «The World of Trade» - one of the most important events of the year for the specialists of trade branch. It had a purpose to demonstrate the latest developments in the field of trade equipment, systems of automation, and everything what helps to develop trade company effectively. Organizers decided to cover all thematic directions of trade business, that’s why more then 60 companies of different specializations represented their products and services. Visitors could see new decisions in the sphere of equipment and design of trade halls, equipment of mini-producing, logistics, etc.

To make it more comfortable, the International Trade Exhibition was divided into color thematic blocs. It helped visitors to find what interested them easily, to become familiar with represented decisions, to compare them and to choose the most optimal. The International Trade Exhibition had a goal to combine efforts of all participants in order to raise the quality of retail trade and to revive good traditions of trade in Russia. The participants discussed urgent questions of the tendencies of developing of retail trade in Russia, the problems of the branch and possibilities of their solving, and in addition they shared the experience of successful trade. Exhibition’s squares were occupied mostly by Russian firms.

Ukraine was represented only by Modern-Expo Company. The stand of the Company – 154 m2 – was the biggest one and attracted everybody by it’s big variety of ready decisions for equipping of trade places. For example, specialists of buying trade equipment for one of trading networks of Sankt-Peterburg most of all liked the furniture for alcohol section and shelving for bread. Visitors also observed shelving for wine, shelving-«gondolas», systems «Columb», check-out counters. Most of the visitors noticed an informative side of the exposition of «Modern-Expo». «Several minutes is enough to understand what proposes the Company» - this compliment the organizers of the stand were hearing the most often.

The products of Modern-Expo Company are well-known by Russian customers. The work of International Trade Exhibition in the capital of Russia furthers to the development of popularity of products (Novovladykinskij Passage, 8, building 4). The participation of Modern-Expo Company in the International Trade Exhibition Forum «The World of Trade» has confirmed the appearing of new serious player in a Russian market of trade equipment.

The central event of 4 International Trade Exhibition Forum «The World of Trade» was summing up and the ceremony of rewarding winners of the National Prize Best Retail 2006. To be known as the best one, companies competed for 9 nominations. The firm «Crossroads» was recognized as the best project of the format, the best project of the format discounter – «Magnit», the best hypermarket – «Mosmart». «Park-house» was recognized as the best trade-entertainment firm, the best one of the format «technique and electronics for everyday common usage» was hypermarket of electronics «M-video», the best department store – the Central department store of Ulan-Ude. The best shop of those one what propose decoration materials and goods for home was the company «OBI», goods for sport – «Champion», the best salon of mobile connection - «Svjaznoj».
