XIII International exhibition of equipment for supermarkets, restaurants and hotels «MarGo-2008» was held in Kyiv from the 7th to the 10th of April. In the frame of arrangement company «Modern-Expo» presented not only one’s elaborations on the stand, but shared with the secrets of commercial space effective organization during the 10th international conference as to retail.
As compared with German fair EuroShop – European giant of expositional business with 40 years developed history, its Ukrainian analoque – exhibition «MarGo» is still youth. But today this arrangement acquired the European significance event status. The exhibition was held at supporting of European commercial institute, European retail academy, and personally Mr. Bernd Hallir, the president of EuroShop this year. «Ukraine is one of the most attractive countries for the western retailers, in connection with Ukrainian retail market becomes highly competitive – noted Mr. Hallir, - there are always winners and losers at the market economy conditions. But its impossible to win without such instruments as exhibitions and seminars. Exhibition «MarGo» is a kind of hospitable platform in Ukraine during 13 years. And we are ready to support this event».
Representing high branch development level, all main indexes of «MarGo» have rized more than 30% this year. 176 leading companies from Ukraine, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Turkey and Hungary presented the spectrum of modern technologies and equipment for different retail enterprises, restaurants, fast-foods, cafes, bars, hotels – more than 440 brands, at all pavilion area of «Kyivexpoplaza» exhibition centre.
«Modern-Expo» is one of the biggest store fixtures producer and supplier in Eastern Europe and «MarGo’s» permanent participant. As usual company’s stands are expositional hole decoration that astonish visitors by the new ideas and bright decisions. This year company represented at once 3 main directions of its work – a new line of check-out counters «Magellan», shelving systems «Columbus» and the decisions in POP-equipment direction on 56 sq.metres of exhibition area.
But «Modern-Expo» hasn’t restricted its participation only to news presentation .
For the first time, during the international exhibition which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year at the frame of «MarGo», the representative of the company - the executive director of «Modern-Expo» (Poland) Andrzey Mazurkevycz spoke with the report about «Effective organization of commercial stores space of modern formats retail».
