A grand opening of hypermarket «TAM-TAM» took place on 19 November, 2005. The total square is 9600 m2, trading hall of hypermarket – 4500 m2. The initiators of the project (PACCO Corporation and a Joint Venture «Western Oil Group») during the process of working out the conception of the hypermarket visited shops of foreign trading networks and had numerous consultations.
The trade equipment for hypermarket was chosen intently. Oleg Kryzanivskyy, a vice-president of PACCO Corporation in commerce («New commerce», ¹ 3, 2005 ã.): «While choosing of the trade equipment for hypermarket the preference was given to the exclusive on a serial scale – check-out counters, counters and display counters of «Modern-Expo» producing have an unusual form and are painted with all colors of a rainbow what stimulates clients to buy».
Colorful and functional trade furniture, that completely has satisfied the requirements of owners – is a system of metal shelving «Columb». During the equipping of a hypermarket «TAM-TAM» for the first time were demonstrated the possibilities of this system: a big trading square and a high level of the owners of the hypermarket allowed to do that.
38 check-out terminals of the hypermarket give a possibility to serve more then 10000 buyers a day. Such an energy in getting things done exists thanks to peculiarities of check-out counters from «Modern-Expo». The usage of check-out counters with a transportation belt, which can be managed both with foot drive and with a help of a complete of photoelements considerably speeds up pay operations.
